2019 Taichung International Dance Carnival

The “2019 Taichung International Dance Carnival ” promotes tourism via the main motifs of performing arts and dance sports. Internationally renowned dance groups were invited to perform in Taiwan and network with local dancers. Meanwhile, to promote localized activities, traditional festive culture or historical stories was blended into music as the performance background, show casing local characteristics.

This event is scheduled to take place on October 25, 26, and 27, and November 1, 2, and 3. It spans over two weekends for the citizens to have a blast together. In order to balance regional development, a series of activities are scheduled to be held at multiple locations in Taichung City. The aim is for citizens in all districts to feel the vigor and festivity, to spark the urban vitality and sense of joy in life.
